Why is community service important? What are some ideas for projects? Watch video

Buttenhoff conducted Climate Survey Responses in his classes and here are his results. This will help you see what issues are important to our community.

A great place to start is to check out Hands On Greater Portland. They are an organization that can connect you with lots of volunteer opportunities around the area.

You may work on the proposal in groups if you find that others care about the same topics as you, but everyone needs to type up their own reflection at the end. You'll do individual reflections as your portfolio piece.
